Identified Need : Students need to feel safe and connected to their school, as well as be motivated, in order to succeed in school. Based on the 2014-2015
California Healthy Kids Survey, between 2-3% of 4th and 5th grade students felt a low sense of connectedness to school.

Increase graduation rates
Increase student connectedness as measured by California Healthy Kids Survey and level of participation of students in athletics and
