Increase outside professional development services and BASE school science teachers transition to disciplinary literacy
resources to ensure academic success standards in the CCSS took place. Middle school math
$85,145 teachers attended professional development training in the $85,145
Supplemental state academic standards, high school and middle school
department math chairs met to discuss and reflect on the $300,000
implementation of the CCSS, collaborated and planned with
$300,000 local stakeholders on the design of the Visual and Performing
Common Core Arts program. Increased services to ensure academic success
in the implementation of the ELA and Math State Standards
and in the Secondary area of Disciplinary Literacy in the
Sciences and STEM learning also took place.

At the elementary level, five new RtI2 (Response to
Instruction and Intervention) teachers supported 10 schools
in differentiated instruction and RtI2, with a focus on meeting
the needs of English learners.

Principals and teachers were trained on addressing the needs of
their site's CCSS focus area and Theory of Action. Training topics
addressed the state standards, 21st century teaching and
learning, the collaboration cycle, best first instruction, access to
digital tools and resources and mindset/brain‐based research.
