Elementary teachers were provided access to 21st century
units of study with a focus on Reading Standards for
Informational Text (science). Units provided real‐world,
relevant, applicable lessons and activities that focused on
the 8 engineering practices. Lessons and activities were
designed in preparation for student transition to the
NGSS.
