providing teachers with a Balanced Instructional Design and ensuring that real‐world, relevant learning tied to best practices
with a deeper emphasis on student writing and formative assessment is highlighted in the on‐going depth and work on the
implementation of the state standards.
Core and supplemental materials were purchased throughout year to ensure all students had access to state approved
standards based instructional materials. Supplemental materials were piloted that demonstrated alignment to new state
standards.
