reviewing past progress and/or changes to learning (OECD, 2006). As more access becomes readily available to students over the next few years, the
goals? following changes in teaching and learning will become more apparent for students that will ensure college and
career preparedness in the 21st century: 1) Ensure more collaborative efforts of learning are increased, 2) Assist
in the development of students identifying personal learning needs through digital contexts, and 3) Ensure that
curiosity and creativity are increasingly growing as students learn. OUSD is committed to seeing technology as an
intelligent tool for supporting individual learning as well as collaborative learning amongst different individuals,
as there are multiple ways to expand the talent and potential in every learner. Hence, additional purchases of
devices and implementation of 1 to 1 programs and Bring Your Own Device initiatives will continue to take place
next year.
In an effort to minimize redundancy and to establish more precise LCAP goals, goals 1, 2, and 3 were condensed
