and career, the following practices will be closely evaluated to ensure foster youth academic success:
1) attendance at a school site that strongly promotes college enrollment and career readiness 2)
provide immediate, direct support for foster youth students who receive a grade of C‐ or lower 3)
provide multiple opportunities for foster youth to participate and receive at least 15 college credits in
concurrent enrollment programs and 4) support direct services for college financial aid 5) ensure quick
and immediate enrollment in college or career post high school 6) provide placement communications
and support to strengthen the pipeline between home placement and school services.
School supplies, tutoring, mentorship and other support will be offered to McKinney Vento, Low Income
and Foster Youth students.
