Curriculum Counsel, District English Learner Advisory Committee
(DELAC), District Advisory Committee (DAC), Education
Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC), Foster Connections,
Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Community Advisory
Committee, Special Education Community Advisory Committee,
and the Superintendents Forum. The LCAP survey was also
provided to parents at various school advisory committees such
as School Site Council (SSC), English Learner Advisory Committee
(ELAC), and the PTA as well as during school functions like back to
school night, Open House and Parent Teacher Conferences. As a
result, OUSD increased stakeholder input by over 3,500 responses
for the 2014‐2015 school year.
A variety of parent workshops and trainings were also provided at
the district as well as the school site.
These trainings played a factor in the LCAP Stakeholder survey
results that showed 72% of stakeholders agreed or strongly
agreed that parent communication increased.
