Mrs. Kristin Safa
Kindergarten Teacher
I am so grateful to be a part of the Chapman Hills team, and look forward to getting to work with such a supportive and involved school community. This will be my sixth year working in Orange Unified, and is my third year teaching Kindergarten. I have also taught first grade and sixth grade. I graduated from CSU Long Beach with a BA in Liberal Studies: History, and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters Degree in Cross Cultural Education from National University. I love everything about being a teacher and look forward to each new day I get to work with my students. Kindergarten especially is such a beautiful time where kids have so much excitement and innocence to them, they are eager to learn and to please, and have such adorable dispositions. I look forward to nurturing them and providing them with a safe, positive, creative and academically challenging environment.
I grew up here in Orange, going to Villa Park Elementary, Cerro Villa, and then Villa Park H.S. I currently live here in Orange with my amazing husband Jeremy and our awesome son Charles. We also have two mini-poodles who provide us with lots of entertainment and cuddles! When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to amusement parks with my family-Charles loves roller coasters and I like waiting by the exit watching in awe at how brave he is and how not so brave I am! We enjoy spending time outdoors going on walks, playing at the park, or relaxing at the beach. I also love to read, play the piano, play games, practice yoga, paddle board, and spend time hanging out with my hubby and Charles.
Go Bobcats!
