Message from Superintendent Michael L. Christensen
On behalf of the Board of Education, as well as the staff and students at El Modena High School, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the professional and measured response by the Orange Police Department (OPD) to the incident that occurred on campus yesterday. The situation was resolved in the evening and staff and students are on campus this morning teaching and learning. It is our understanding that the person involved in the incident is receiving the appropriate professional assistance. The District is cooperating with OPD in their investigation and any questions about this incident should be referred to OPD at (714) 744-7444.
