OUSD Recognizes Schools with "Most Improved" Overall Student Attendance
Orange, Calif. - December 14, 2015 - The Orange Unified School District continues to strive for high overall student attendance rates and school connectedness. This month, 15 schools were recognized as having the “Most Improved” overall student attendance rates during the first three months of the school year as compared to last year’s attendance rates.
The Most Improved schools at the elementary, middle and high school levels were Olive Elementary School, Fletcher Elementary School, California Elementary School, Palmyra Elementary School, Panorama Elementary School, Serrano Elementary School, Linda Vista Elementary School, Prospect Elementary, West Orange Elementary School, McPherson Magnet Middle School, El Rancho Charter Middle School, Portola Middle School, Canyon Hills Secondary School, Richland High School and El Modena High School. Each was presented with an Attendance Achievement Award certificate by Student and Community Services Administrative Director, Ken Miller, EdD.
